These are great pieces I have played for most of my career. Whether you are a guitarist who is looking for quality pieces for performance, or you are someone who enjoys playing for themselves and is looking for some great material to play, this is the book for you. Many of these pieces may be new to you. Clarks Galliard, Saltarello, Mr Chidleys Farewell and many others I have never seen transcribed for the guitar. Here you will find many pieces by John Dowland, Anthony Holborne and Francesco da Milano. There are also compositions by lesser known composers such as Frances Pilkington and Bartlomiej Pekiel. This is a great collection of some of my favorite Renaissance lute music taken from the tablatures of great lutenists composers. These Renaissance pieces are a bit more challenging than ones we have published in the past. Learn them and you will hone. I think you will keep this collection close at hand.
