I picked these pieces and all others for books based on my love of the music, not based on the pieces’s difficulty. There is nothing wrong with a really beautiful easy piece. Of course, I find that nothing is easy on the guitar. I can make a mistake on the simplest thing, or play something complicated perfectly. That is what it’s like to be a musician.

You can challange yourself with “Man of the House” or or catch your breath and play “The Exile Song.” There are twenty-seven great pieces in this collection that I think you will enjoy.

In this collection there are a few pieces by Turlough O’Carolan who of course is the treasure of Ireland. There are a couple from the famous Skene Manuscript of Scotland and many traditional pieces I love. They are fun to play and a joy to listen to. A High Quality Collection of Music
